Twins Carla and Carrie gather every summer with their parents and extended family on Ft. Myers Beach, Florida.  This year they celebrated their parents 50th Wedding Anniversary with family photos! These are images they will cherish FOREVER!

Generational Family Portraits

On July 1, 2013, my dad turned 75 years old and all he wanted for his birthday was a portrait of him and his 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandbabies!  Because we all live in different locations, this was perfect timing, while everyone was on vacation visiting. My mom didn't even come dressed to hope in one photo because this was truly all about HIM!  I'm so pleased with the end results, as is my dad! Love our Family!

Dance Recital Portraits

Last week was all tutus and ballerina's at The Dance Company in Labelle, Florida. This where you will find owners Melissa and Tiffany hard at work along with their mom Myrtis making it a buzz of activity this time of year while they prepare for final dance recital.
Although this is only our second year as dance school photographers, I am already amazed at how the children are growing and have changed from last year. The students come in a ballet dance outfit, then change and come back in a hip hop dance, then lyrical, jazz, tap and are just so adorable to photograph these children. Often Sandy & I get a chuckle out of all the different personalities that come in front our lens in a single day. One of our little ballerina's had taken a black marker and colored all over her ballet shoes, and others would dance for us and show off their routine for recital.
We wanted more than just a nice photo but to create a piece of fine art portraiture for the parents to display in their homes and cherish forever. I know as a Mom and Grandma that I would love this.

 Of course my inspiration comes from my own favorite tiny dancer and that's my granddaughter McKenzie. Here she is at her recital for The Dance Warehouse in Ft Myers, Florida.
She looks just like her beautiful Mommy and so nostalgia to watch her up on stage.
Life truly is precious and is a full circle.
